New 2020 Audi E-Tron Suv Range, Specs, Update – It’s not that long ago that an electric car was seen as a niche option a choice for early. Early adopters but how quickly things have changed, and New 2020 Audi E-Tron Suv Range, Specs, Update is nicely represented by the fact that Jaguar’s first all-electric car, the i-pace, was crowned the 2019 World Car of the Year.
But what’s probably even more remarkable is that a second car out of the three finalists for. It’s not often you see the big German carmakers having to play catch-up, but that’s been the case this time around. The approach Audi has taken slightly different.

Let’s get back to the standard bit, and when we say New 2020 Audi E-Tron Suv isn’t different. That doesn’t mean it isn’t striking, because it’s a good-looking car. That fits well into our DS rather vast SUV range somewhere between the q5 and the q7. He has all the Audi features we love like the fabulous lights both front and back. It has very little to set it apart as an Eevee.
This a great or a wrong thing, Can we guess the answer is that it depends on what you’re looking for. Do you know for some people? We don’t think it’s going to be interesting or different enough, but if you’re in the market for a luxury SUV and you like the idea of dipping your toe in the Eevee waters.
Then we think the normality if the e-Tron will probably be quite appealing, you know it’s not going to terrify your granny when you turn up to collect her in it. But neither is it going to elicit the joy that the Tesla Model X and it’s magnificent doors does in so many people the only way you would know this is an EB from looking at besides the logo, It’s a charging point one there and one over on the other side.
A charging point has just pressed the button there, and it gracefully drops down, and it only works well, and you finished, press the same button, and up it sweeps. It is German engineering and design; it’s very most beautiful.

For the interior in the front wall, it’s exactly as you’d expect it’s just a luxury Audi isn’t. Its bill quality is high lovely materials there in front of you. You’ve got the Audi virtual cockpit display. Everything else is controlled on the two screens. That is there just as you would expect to see you’ve also got controls on the steering wheel.
The voice commands worked well, as does the touchscreen just down beside the driver. The whole thing feels very that word again; it’s coming normal. It’s very reasonable in there; in fact, the only slight differences are there open center console and their thing that we like. It’s like a little hand rest, but when you flick the gears up and down.
And it’s nice when you’re on the move when you’re driving for longer journeys. And apart from that, if you look very carefully there in front of the driver, you have a little electric plug which shows you. You’ve got 120 miles left of range before we need to charge.
Looking around the interior, you can see it’s spacious, comfortable, and practical with plenty of useful storage at launch. Just three versions of the New Audi E-Tron Suv on/off. A standard model, a launch edition, an ultra-exclusive edition one with only 30 of those making their way to the UK.
Now they replace these traditional mirrors because it doesn’t have them on this model with a pair of high-res cameras. That bean a digital feed straight to a screen just inside the car.
Overall there were just no criticisms in there apart from maybe one or two, and build quality is ordinarily fantastic on an Audi. The finish is excellent materials are lovely, which we have already said, but if you look a little bit closer down, they’re a bit flimsy.
The other thing is that the front compartment is opened by an awkward little handle down there that also feels a bit flimsy. On a car of this price, we expect that compartment to be electronically operated. We don’t want to be fiddling down there with a bit of plastic every time. We have to get to the charging cables.

We have no complaints around are the boots, which are more significant than that of the space. The new Mercedes has a scuff plate to protect it, but there’s also quite a large section to lift heavier items over all those storing large loads will be easy as the rear seats can be dropped flats making it more practical than its rivals.
One thing we do think is brilliant though is under there it is a removable plastic compartment which is fantastic for my muddy wellies, isn’t that a smart idea.
One thing though We don’t think so smart is the home for the charging cables. They’re kept in this car and there at the front which you have to operate with that. Fiddly handle inside and then there’s another latch in there and then under engine place finally you get to the Myriads of charging cables.
That we currently need with all the different charging systems that you’ll find. We don’t think anybody has cracked an excellent place to store the charging cables. Because they’re not going to stay in the back are though they’re just going to end upchucked in your boot, Where it’s easy to get them.
As you might guess from those generous dimensions, the Audi E-Tron 2020 is pretty spacious, with plenty of room for five adults and their luggage seven seats. Aren’t an option which does give the Tesla Model X an advantage, but you won’t have any reason to complain about space. With the driver passengers, all of our luggage head and legroom in the bucket excellent, which means that even taller adults won’t feel cramped.
So what’s powering the e-Tron then well it’s a larger battery. Then you’ll find in both the Mercedes EQC and also the Jaguar i-pace, it’s a 90-kilowatt-hour battery. There has been some debate.
A battery of that size should be capable of giving a longer age then the official figure, which is 241 miles. The reason for that is we think what is more important is actually, not necessarily the range. It’s how close to that range you can get when you were driving this car in real-world conditions every day.
We have a very gentle right foot, We don’t know, but We have absolutely no complaints about the e-Tron. We have been averaging two and a half miles per kilowatt-hour, which if you do the maths on that.
So it roughly multiplies that figure by the 95 kilowatts. That you’ll find in the battery you get a range of We to think it’s incredibly close. So that quoted a range of up to 241 the official figure.
Drive a New 2020 Audi E-Tron Suv
It’s summer. The weather is lovely, not necessarily relying on the air-conditioning, but We have been driving it for nearly 400 miles. That is most ways on roads around town, just normal driving.
We are impressed with it. We think as we have said, the reliable range is vital because it allows you to plan your journeys in confidence. So absolutely top marks to Audi for that one.
As for the rest of the driving experience. It’s all very normal, there’s that word again. The power distribution feels even and balanced. Then it’s a heavy car, you know; it’s two and a half tonnes. That’s because the weighty bits underneath this haven’t been developed with an Eevee.
The I-pace has a lightness to it an engaging drive that. This doesn’t have, but the e-Tron is a family SUV. We are very impressed with though is how refined and quiet and comfortable this car race. We know it sounds a bit daft to call an Eevee quiet because that’s what they are right.
When you’re on the move, you can be far more aware of wind and road noise. And you think not to mention the occasional line from the electrics. It can be quite annoying. From the backseat, it’s not quite as smooth, which is a little bit annoying for what is a family car.
Price and Release Date
The launch edition cost an extra ten thousand pounds, but you do get absolutely stacks of extra Kip for that. Things like a 360-degree camera you get matrix LED headlights instead fancy 21-inch alloy wheels. and the much talked about virtual mirrors.
Now our advice on those is to probably save the money because while they are undoubtedly a brilliant piece of tech. There’ll be a real novelty at first, they do seem a bit strange to use.
