2024 Nissan Altima Redesign, Facelift, PriceThe 2024 Nissan Altima is available for sale for a $25,525 price tag and comes as standard with a 2.5L 188 horsepower inline-4 engine with an FWD transmission. The sporty SR trim has a 2L 236 horsepower turbo-4 engine as an option, although it’s only available in FWD form on the pricier Platinum trim. Nissan is projected to debut the 2024 Altima before the end of 2024 but will continue selling it with the same interior and exterior color selections.

Regarding dependability, Nissan has an excellent reputation, as seen by its J.D. Power reliability rating of 82/100. With a 5-year ownership cost of $32,850, Nissan Altima is in line with the segment average. Nissan also offers a variety of military and recent college graduate discounts and financing options with APRs as low as 0% for 36 months and as high as 1.9 percent for 60 months for qualified purchasers.

2024 Nissan Altima Redesign

Exterior Design

The 2024 Nissan Altima will have no external visual modifications and the same exterior design from the 2024 model year. Despite the car’s clean, angular look, which doesn’t really scream “performance,” it comes standard with an SR package that adds a sporty V-motion grille in dark chrome. In addition to the traditional glass sunroof on the SR and Platinum trims, LED headlamps are available on the SL grade and up.

The 17-inch alloy wheels are standard, increasing to 19-inch on both these levels. Outside, the grille, sides, and tailgate will all feature conspicuous chrome fittings. Inside, the 2024 Nissan Altima will feature chrome inlays both inside and out. Optional 17-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels with a $910 are available, as are the same five colors as before. Both sets of wheels have an exact ground clearance of 5.1 inches.

Interior Design

Of the various modifications that the 2024 Nissan Altima is bound to undergo for its interior, one that jumps out is its zero-gravity setting. These seats give the most pleasant experience one could think of. Otherwise, the inside is supplied with a typical complex plastic dashboard and easy-to-use switchgear. There are also choices for various interior customizations, including the seat material, color, tones of the inlays, accents, and in some instances, wood inserts.

2024 Nissan Altima Interior

Compared to the Honda Accord, which has the most spacious interior, the 2024 Nissan Altima stuffs all of the room in the vehicle’s front half. The Toyota Camry finds the middle position in terms of interior spaciousness. The front of the Hyundai Sonata’s cabin is crammed to the gills, as is the Nissan Sentra’s. There will be some much-needed technological enhancements to the Nissan Altima’s 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system in 2024.

2024 Nissan Altima Engine

The 2.5L naturally aspirated inline-4 engine that powers the 2024 Nissan Altima still makes 188 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. There is also a 2L turbocharged engine available with SR trim that generates 236 horsepower and 267 lb-ft. Both the engines are coupled with an XTronic CVT automatic transmission and power the front wheels. AWD is offered for an extra $1,400 and is available with all trim apart from the base S trim.

Nissan, for some reason, offers this strong engine only with the FWD drivetrain and just with a single trim, which is not even the top-end trim. The CVT transmission shifts smoothly, but the power delivery is sluggish, preventing quick acceleration. The 2018 Altima is a step forward from the previous model’s fleet-car feel when it comes to driving characteristics. The combination of agile handling, a responsive chassis, and a finely-tuned suspension system results in a ride that’s at once comfortable and engaging.

2024 Nissan Altima Price and Release Date

The 2024 Nissan Altima is a carryover model from 2024, considering it had a redesign just the previous year. The retail price is $24,550; however, that does not include the $975 in shipping costs. It is driven by a robust 188 horsepower engine which returns a maximum of 39 MPG. It’s worth noting, though, that the interior fit and finish are not entirely up to par with expectations, nor does it seem quite as cool as the reported 400Z interior. Additionally, it is only offered in the same five colors as before.
