2023 Chevrolet Equinox Redesign, Colors, Review – In the third quarter of 2022, a restyled Chevrolet Equinox will go on sale as a 2023 model. A sportier LED headlight and front grille design will be part of the package. Replacement taillights and that new rear bumper own been added to the 2023 Chevrolet Equinox back end.
The all-new RS model is the most significant change to the all-new Equinox. Black grille, Android wheels, black badges, black Bow-Tie logo, black RS shift knob, contrast red stitching on the all-black interior are just some of the unique features of the 2023 Chevrolet Equinox RS. Chevrolet confirmed that the 2023 Equinox would only be offered a 1.5-liter turbo-four engine with 170 horsepower.
2023 Chevrolet Equinox Redesign
The 2023 Chevrolet Equinox exterior design has undergone the most significant changes. The 2023 Equinox’s design is more aggressive, and it appears to breathe new life into the car’s athleticism and sportiness. Updated front and rear fascia include new headlights, DRLs, taillights, and bumpers.
Several trim-specific enhancements are also available. A gloss black grille with chrome accents and 19-inch wheels is available on the 2023 Equinox Premier. The 2018 Equinox RS comes standard with 19-inch Android wheels, black Bow-Tie insignia, badges, and black side rails, all of which are exclusive to this model. Within the compact SUV class, the Chevrolet Equinox weighs just 3274 pounds. However, its 107.3-inch wheelbase makes it the most stout. It’s ironic because Equinox has a small passenger capacity and a small cargo hold.
The Chevy Equinox’s interior is one of the least generously proportioned. The interior is made of sturdy but uninspiring components to add insult to injury. Thanks to its modern tech and entertainment features, it’s able to keep passengers entertained even on long road trips! Chevy Equinox’s infotainment system offers a 7.0-inch touchscreen with an 8-inch screen option.
Known for its user-friendly interface and quick responses, Chevrolet’s MyLink system is included. Bluetooth audio streaming, 4G LTE network, onboard Wi-Fi, USB ports, and an auxiliary jack are all included with smartphone integration via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Cupholders abound, and the spacious central console is ideal for storing goods you use regularly. In addition, Equinox has a total of 29.9 cubic feet of storage space in the back of its seats. But that’s not all that impressive, considering all of Chevy’s rivals have even more room for passengers and storage.
2023 Chevrolet Equinox Engine
The Equinox’s base engine is a 170 horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, which sounds good but isn’t particularly satisfying to drive. Even though the Equinox is equipped with standard all-wheel drive, the six-speed automatic transmission is designed for efficiency and will not downshift unless absolutely necessary.
The 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine, with a maximum output of 252 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, is a better and more powerful alternative. Unfortunately, this engine won’t be available for the 2023 Equinox. The Equinox can sprint from 0-60 mph in 8.7 seconds with the base and only a 1.5L four-cylinder engine.
The Honda CR-190 V’s horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque is the most powerful engine in its class. While it takes 9.3 seconds to go from 0-60 mph, it takes just 16.0 seconds to complete the quarter-mile. The only other vehicle with primary all-wheel drive (AWD) is the Subaru Forester, which provides the best value for money.
2023 Chevrolet Equinox Price and Release Date
Speculations predict the 2023 Chevrolet Equinox will cost around $25,000 when it goes on sale, although the automaker has not confirmed that. With a starting price of $24,995, it will be comparable to the 2022 Chevrolet Equinox.
