I’d be lying if we said this car feels any different to the stand as a Cayenne yes the windscreen is a little bit flatter and little bit lower yes the track is a bit wider yes if you go for the lightweight package it is lighter and you get a lower center of gravity but it doesn’t feel any different to a Cayenne.

you have to drive these cars at ten tenths probably on a track back-to-back to work out the differences, but for normal driving, this feels like a standard Cayenne.
We’re in the entry-level Cayenne here pushing out Jasin de 340 horsepower. Now we have to say it doesn’t feel as though it has got 340 horsepower now I’m not idiotic here it does still feel like a fast car.

Now we’re going, and that’s 70 miles an hour it’s quick no doubt about it but doesn’t feel quite as fast as we would expect it to be there’s a lot of engine noise, but the speed doesn’t feel quite in tandem with what you’re hearing. There’s no doubt about it this is still a quick car and Porsche will happily sell you a v8 turbo if you want extra performance.
you’ll need deep pockets to run the Porsche Cayenne Coupe SUV, but you knew that already this base v6 only returns 23 mpg my time with it and if you regularly drive in the city and have access to a charging point the plug-in hybrids may be a better bet.

now don’t get me wrong I’m not complaining at all because the Cayenne for a car of this size and type it is, but it is one of the finest in the business because the handling of this car is fantastic.
Now firstly in this car, we’ve got the full suite of the latest Porsche technologies. So we’ve got the PD CC that’s the Porsche dynamic chassis control. It uses electromechanical anti-roll bars to make sure the car call is appropriately in the best way. It possibly can we’ve got the electronic rear differential we’ve got four wheels steering as well. So the rear wheels turn in the same direction as the Fronts at certain speeds.
Then, Their low speeds they turn in the opposite direction to aid cornering and agility. It all adds up to a hugely impressive package because there are very few cars over. This type can outrun this thing when it comes to cornering. He is staggering and to think this car weighs well let’s face it 2.2 tonnes. It s remarkable.
We mean this particular car has got the sports exhaust you’re going to have to go. That on you with black painted pipes. on open roads, like we’re driving at the moment. It feels fine but takes this car into the town, and it feels all you do breathe in occasionally hoping. That you’re not going to clout a width restricts or something like that. Because it does feel like a big car.
Around town, you can’t sort of disguise the fact this car got some big wheels on. It tends to patter it a little bit over broken services and speed bumps and all that kind of stuff. It gets a little bit unsettled and another weakness is on the motorway. Now it’s okay if you’re on a smooth tarmac motorway. But if you come across a bit of sort of like a concrete surface it gets so noisy in here.
I’m really sort of quibbling here because generally speaking is big fast at performance SUVs. The Cayenne Coupe doesn’t lose anything or doesn’t add anything. To the stand Cayenne package and the standard Porsche Cayenne is one of the most excellent SUVs in the business.
